What Makes Seven Million Bikes Podcasts Today?
In 2019, I started podcasting as a hobby while working as an English teacher in Saigon. Inspired by the hidden stories of the people I met, I launched Seven Million Bikes: A Saigon Podcast with little more than a basic microphone and the hope that a few people might listen.
Then, I wasn’t just producing podcasts—As well as teaching II was running live events, including networking meetups, stand-up comedy shows, music nights, and even quizzes. And trying to survive post-pandemic after losing my job I was even doing TikTok videos for a company and pharmaceutical marketing!
Seven Million Bikes became an umbrella brand for all these activities, uniting everything I was passionate about under one name. The brand represented not just a podcast but a platform for creativity and connection.
In 2023, after years of hard work and reflection, I decided to fully commit to one thing, my original passion – podcasting. This focus transformed everything, leading to incredible milestones like speaking at Podfest Asia, winning awards at the Asia Podcast Awards, and winning Best Company at the BritCham Vietnam Gala Awards.
Now I run an end-to-end podcast production agency, helping people share their stories that have positive impacts on the community.
Why Set a Mission and Core Values?
